JMC Aviation are working with an Engine MRO company based in Hounslow, looking to recruit a new Senior Stores Person to join their team.
Due to continued expansion, an opportunity has arisen for a Senior Stores Person to join the team, supporting the company as they continue to provide both on and off site services, leading the market with their unrivalled specialist engine handling equipment. Holding both EASA and FAA approvals, the company continue to pride themselves on quality, flexibility and professionalism.
This is a Permanent Position based in Hounslow, 40 hours per week, Monday- Friday.

The Role:
This role is for a Stores Person with a background in Aviation, looking to oversee the day to day running of the aircraft stores, visually inspecting all incoming goods and materials, accept and log aircraft components and materials on the internal IT system, as well as ensure all documentation is completed and filed correctly.
Other duties involve:
– Visually inspecting all incoming goods and materials for physical damage and appropriate documentation
– Ensuring rejected goods and parts are quarantined and labelled
– Ensuring that all material certificates are properly filed and materials are properly stored, and that material is kept linked to the supplier source
– Issuing approved parts, materials, special tooling to the Workshop – Technicians, ensuring it is accompanied with the appropriate documentation
– Ensuring that all outgoing aircraft components are packed for distribution in the agreed packing boxes and materials
– Maintaining accurate inventory using computerised systems to include purchased parts, manufactured parts, materials, tools, etc.
– Ensuring that material is removed from store before it’s due to expire
Skills and experience required:
In order to be successful in this role the Senior Stores Person will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
– Right to live and work in the UK
– Previous stores experience within Aviation required
