JMC Aviation are working with a surface treatment company based in Chelmsford, looking to recruit a new Quality Control Inspector to join their team.
This client offers a range of surface treatments and non-destructive testing, creating aerospace components using CNC Machines to fabricate sheet metal. This family run company provide an outstanding customer service and helping their employees progress within their roles.
This is a Permanent Position based in Chelmsford.
39 hours per week, Monday – Thursday.

The Role:
The primary purpose of this role is to provide support to the inspection department and ensure all work carried out is to the highest standards. Your main duty will be to carry out First Offs and Final Inspections of the manufactured fabricated and assembled components.
Other duties involve:
– Work to simple instructions provided on job cards and supporting documentation
– Manual handling of both small and large aircraft components will be required
– Adherence to health and safety requirements
– To be a team player that can carry out extra overtime hours as and when required by the business
In order to be successful in this role the Quality Control Inspector will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
– Previous experience in a surface treatment quality inspection role
– Knowledge of problem-solving techniques.
– Strong Communication skills
– Knowledge of problem-solving techniques.
– Strong Communication skills
– IT Literate
– Right to live and work in the UK
