- To ensure safe, cost effective and efficient operation of the aircraft and systems in the easyJet fleet.
- Work with Fleet Engineers in the areas of Airframe, Avionics, Cabin Systems, Maintenance Programmes and Reliability, and Liaise with system/equipment manufacturers to ensure continued airworthiness to improve aircraft availability and system reliability.
- Management of EASA Part M / Part CAMO responsibilities and functions.
- Safety Management System – Investigation and Closure of MORs, occurrence reports and audit findings.
- Responsible for providing a structured approach to the resolution of technical issues related to aircraft components.
- To interface with and / or provide assistance to any relevant department for modification programmes / repairs and Component work scopes.
- Provide repetitive and recurrent component performance and reliability analysis to support the Engineering technical procedures (i.e. NFF, Failure cases, Rogues, Short runners, etc).
- To control set up and management of Manufacturers Part Numbers (MPN) and associated data in AMOS Part Admin / Rotable Control.
- Control of Life Limited and time-controlled components.
- Set up and management of Aircraft Configuration trees.
- Support internal and external Audits in Component Engineering to ensure compliance.
- Airline representative for maintenance working groups.
- Management of Component AMOS Technical Assistance inbox.
- Fleet transition – Management of End of Lease queries and AOC transfers.
- Oversee and lead Component Engineering meetings.
- Carrying out other work that may be reasonably required and is within current competency as requested by the Senior Fleet Engineering Manager and/or Team Leader.
- Hold a recognised Degree in an Aircraft/Aerospace Engineering discipline or Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Licence.
- Knowledge of the functions of EASA Part M/ Part CAMO, Airworthiness regulations & legislation.
- Experience working in Part M / CAMO office environment.
- Ideally experience of Component Maintenance.
- AMOS user knowledge (preferable).
- Extensive experience on Microsoft Office applications.
