JMC Aviation are working with a global leader in the business aviation industry and are looking to engage with Avionics Technicians.
This position is based in Wichita, KS and offers an excellent salary rate, OT and some great benefits. Duties within this role are as follows:
– Conduct inspections, make necessary adjustments, repair, replace components, and address malfunctions or deficiencies with or without power applied to the aircraft.
– Perform maintenance on customer aircraft in accordance with relevant technical data and FAA/JAA regulations.
– Access and reinstall aircraft components that may obstruct the completion of assigned tasks.
– Carry out basic mechanical and electrical removals and installations.
– Document all work performed following the Inspections Procedures Manual (IPM).
– Collaborate with technical representatives, labs, and other personnel to resolve systems or component issues.
– Assist with repairs on components removed from the aircraft, such as flaps, ailerons, elevators, rudders, doors, and leading edges.
A successful candidate would have the following skills and experience –
– You have one year of aircraft electrical/mechanical experience, or two years of electrical avionics technical school with a certificate, or equivalent military/vendor training (preferred).
– You are able to read and interpret engineering documents and repair manuals.
– You have the right to work in the United States.
