JMC Aviation are working with an FBO company based in Stansted, looking to recruit a new AOG Engineer to join their team.

This is a Permanent Position based in Stansted.
Working 7am – 7pm on a 7 on/7 off shift pattern.

The Role
The primary purpose of this role is day-to-day management of aircraft line and AOG maintenance inputs and projects. To ensure the certification of all maintenance inputs are in accordance with the current certification privileges as detailed in the organisations MOE.
Other duties involve:
– To remain fully prepared and able to travel at short notice, to ensure the site delivers the very highest level of response on a consistent basis, to its demanding customer base.
– They will ensure that all work undertaken, as instructed, remains within the capabilities of the company and subject aircrafts associated state of registry.
– They will be solely responsible for the “perceived” ownership, equipping, stock control and replenishment of the AOG Response vehicle.
– When the employee is not deployed on any AOG activity, the individual will form part of the site’s base maintenance staff and as such revert to being responsible to The Head of Maintenance, whilst remaining in an ever ready and standby state.
– Ensuring compliance with the company Safety system in respect of actively advocating, promoting & implementing safety policy.
Skills and experience required.
In order to be successful in this role the AOG Engineer will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
– Full unrestricted ‘B1’ or ‘B2’ license (B2 engineers are required to have electrical privileges.)
– Engine ground run approval
– Recognised Apprenticeship
– To remain current on all required and necessary types of aircraft:
EMB 135/145 (Legacy 600/650)
EMB Lineage 1000 (EMB 190)
Legacy 500 (Preator)
Phenom 100
Phenom 300
Challenger 604/605
Bombardier Global BD700)
– Proven ability to provide effective management of resources.
– Full UK Driving License
– Right to live and work in the UK
