JMC Aviation are working with a component repair company based in Waterford, Ireland, looking to recruit a new Aircraft Mechanic to join their team.
This client specialises in component repairs for a wide range of commercial aircraft from electrical to mechanical and interior to welding. This is a Permanent Position based in Waterford, Ireland, working 8 hour days, Mon – Fri.

The Role
The primary purpose of this role is to test, repair and Overhaul of Aircraft components, such as Pilot Seats, Cockpit Windows, power supplies, control units, Apu Exhausts, Thrust Reverser Blankets, ovens and water boilers, in accordance with Technical Publications
Other duties involve:
– Review/assess Aircraft components IAW technical publications, CMMs, SRM, AMM.
– Test, repair and Overhaul of Aircraft components, such as Pilot Seats, Cockpit Windows, power supplies, control units, Apu Exhausts, Thrust
Reverser Blankets, ovens and water boilers, etc.
– Write up inspection reports for Airline customer review.
– Understand mechanical and electro mechanical principles.
– Fault find down to component level.
In order to be successful in this role the Aircraft Mechanic will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
– Experienced in holding company certifying staff approval and working IAW with company MOE.
– Experienced in inspecting and releasing parts to service on EASA form 1.
– Hold a recognised engineering qualification, ideally within aviation however training can be provided
