JMC Aviation is thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for Aircraft Engine Technicians to join a global leader in the business aviation industry, based in Hartford, CT. This position provides a competitive hourly rate, an overtime rate, and comprehensive benefits.
The Engine Technician troubleshoots, performs maintenance, and repairs aircraft engines and related aircraft components. Key responsibilities include:
– Troubleshoot, repair, inspect and perform maintenance on engines and related aircraft problems
– Remove / install / replace aircraft engines and accessories
– Assist with performing complete engine runs
– Assist with off-aircraft component repair
– Perform mechanical/ electrical removals and installations
How to Excel in This Role:
– You hold a valid Airframe & Powerplant Certificate.
– You have at least 5 years of experience in heavy aircraft maintenance.
– You bring prior experience in A/C turbine engine maintenance.
– Experience with corporate or commercial jet aircraft is a plus.
– Tug, forklift, and Ground Support Equipment qualifications are preferred.
– Right to work in the United States
