This client is an international line and base maintenance provider, operating a comprehensive level of support for commercial aircraft operators. As an independent MRO, they are able to adapt their approach to respond to rapidly changing requirements and provide services which include component repairs, overhauls, piece part manufacture, aircraft fuel tank repairs, aircraft maintenance, aircraft interiors and AOG support.

This is a Permanent Position based in Prestwick.
Working 5/5/4 shift pattern, 7am – 7pm.

The Role
The primary purpose of this role is to take care of our aircraft technical cleaning requirements.
 
 
Other Duties Involve
– Cleaning internal and external surfaces of the aircraft, including but not limited to;
– Main passenger cabin/flight deck
– Seats / carpets
– Lavatories/galleys
– External fuselage
– Main landing gear & wheel well
– Flight control surfaces
– Floor boards
– Internal and external surfaces of panels
– Assist mechanics with removal/installation of seats and carpets
– Assist production team with application of corrosion protection compounds to cleaned services
– Reporting of cleaning products stock, including PPE
– Maintain compliance with COSHH regulations, health and safety guidelines and Part 145 requirements.
 
 
In order to be successful in this role the Aircraft Cleaner will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
– Proven industrial cleaning experience – aviation cleaning experience would be advantageous
– Valid UK Right to Work in the UK
