JMC Aviation are working with an MRO company based in Gatwick, looking to recruit a new A Licensed Engineer to join their team.
This client is an international line and base maintenance provider, operating a comprehensive level of support for commercial aircraft operators. As an independent MRO, they are able to adapt their approach to respond to rapidly changing requirements and provide services which include component repairs, overhauls, piece part manufacture, aircraft fuel tank repairs, aircraft maintenance, aircraft interiors and AOG support.

This is a Permanent Position based in Gatwick.
Working 5/5/4 mixed shift pattern.

The Role
The primary purpose of this role is to complete routine and non-routine maintenance tasks as directed using the latest approved documentation and procedures.
Other Duties Involve
– Observing and adhering to the company Tooling Policy at all times
– Maintaining awareness and ensuring best practises are observed for Health & Safety and Human Factors
– Ensuring all paperwork is completed to the required standards and in line with the MOE
– Ensuring that they keep their personal work area and facility clean and tidy at all times
– Notifying the company of any significant findings as soon as possible
– Raising safety reports on identifying any hazard or the following of an incident
In order to be successful in this role the A Licensed Engineer will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes
– A current UK CAA or EASA A licence
– Base/line maintenance experience on commercial aircraft
– A valid diploma/apprenticeship or equivalent
– Right to work in the UK/EU
