Following on from the deeply saddening news of Flybe entering into administration on 5 March 2020, leading aviation recruitment specialists, JMC Recruitment Solutions, quickly took the initiative to support Flybe personnel and those affected in the supply chain in securing new employment by hosting valuable recruitment fairs.
Exeter-based JMC Recruitment who provide global permanent, fixed-term and contract recruitment support, thoughts go out to everyone impacted by the collapse of the Devon-based airline Flybe. The British airline collapsed after 40 years of regional travel, serving around eight million passengers a year, after struggling to raise funds amid a steep fall in bookings due to coronavirus.
During this time of uncertainty and insecurity for over 2,000 people, JMC wanted to help and highlight what options are available in the aviation industry by immediately planning comprehensive and informative career fairs in Exeter, Birmingham and Manchester on the 5 and 6 March.
The invaluable recruitment fairs attracted over 200 Flybe engineering and maintenance personnel impacted; and JMC have already successfully deployed candidates into aviation job roles within Europe.
