Are you a Store Keeper with extensive Aircraft Parts/Tooling experience looking for a new contract?
JMC Aviation have an exciting new opportunity for a highly experienced Store Keeper for a contract starting Immediately until May 2025 located in Malta. This position also offers, Flights at start/end of contract, Accommodation & Local Transport
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out Inventory Control, Parts Receiving Inspection, Audits and stores transaction duties.
- Perform systematic Physical Stock Checks and keep quantity or batch discrepancy to a minimum.
- Processing of “System” and “Aircraft Maintenance” requisitions.
- Monitoring and follow up of re-stocking and Maintenance related orders with the suppliers and contracted freight forwarder.
- General upkeep of all serviceable stores, unserviceable stores, quarantine, reject, dispatch, receipt areas and upkeep of all section equipment and tooling.
- Ensuring that aircraft components, parts and materials are appropriately binned and stored in accordance with Aviation Standards Practices.
- Ensure appropriate packing of aircraft parts and components for shipment.
- Disposal of scrapped parts and materials, in accordance with section procedure.
- Drive company vehicles on the airfield and handle stores equipment including fork lifters.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by higher management from time to time.
For consideration, it is essential that Store keeper has:
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Good interpersonal, presentation and communications skills.
- Committed to enhance own and section’s performance and efficiency.
- Ability to learn and use software systems used within the department.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure and with minimum supervision.
- Be in possession of a clean police conduct and in possession of a valid driving license.
- Willingness to learn inventory management, stock control, and record-keeping for efficient store operations.
- Willingness and ability to learn how to operate equipment used in stores and warehouses such as pallet lifters, engine driven fork lifter, strapping machines etc.
- If selected, applicant would need to sit for and successful pass, an MIA course to obtain the MIA Airfield Driving Permit.
