JMC Aviation are working with an MRO company based in Berlin, looking to recruit a new Sheet Metal Worker to join their team.

This is a Permanent Position based in Berlin.
Monday – Friday/Tuesday – Saturday shift rotation, working either 06:00 – 14:00 or 14:15 – 22:15.

The Role
The primary purpose of this role is to carry out and certify maintenance work in the specialist area of structure within the scope and framework of the authorisations issued in compliance with all relevant regulations in accordance with QMH.
Other Duties Involve
– Carrying out necessary adjustments, checks and functional tests as well as independent inspections in the respective specialist area
– Passing on information properly and professionally to the line manager and disciplinary superior
– Instructing employees with lower maintenance authorisation and, if necessary, check that maintenance work is being carried out properly
– Maintaining safety and order in the workplace
– Carrying out other appropriate activities as instructed by the supervisor
In order to be successful in this role the Sheet Metal Worker will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes
– Completed CAT B basic training and holds an EASA CAT B1, CAT B2 or CAT A license
– Completed training in an aircraft constructor or sheet metal worker environment
– Experience in the field of aircraft maintenance
– Knowledge of the applicable maintenance instructions/manuals and relevant parts of the QMH
– Good IT knowledge of the relevant systems
– Good knowledge of English (technical English) with clear verbal and written communication skills
– Valid class B driving license desirable
– ZUP German Security Clearance
– Right to live and work in the EU
