- Assist and deputise for General Manager at Exeter as follows;
- Coordinate the day to day running of base maintenance including support shops and services;
- Manage the contractor requirement levels within Base;
- Liaise with onsite customer representatives as required;
- Allocate the manpower levels and mix of skill sets required for the team to achieve the best outcome for our Customers, the business and the achievement of maximum team performance.
- Ensure training requirements for Base staff are met;
- Ensure staff reviews are completed in a timely and professional fashion;
- Recruitment and Selection – Provide guidance to HR & Quality Departments regarding the suitability of new applicants, participate in the interview process;
- Address any safety or quality issues raised on aircraft or in the hangar facility;
- Ensure that there are minimum quality audit findings within Base and eliminate those arising in a prompt and efficient manner;
- Possess the drive and energy to continuously meet/exceed customer’s requirements and Exeter Base Maintenance Revenue and Cost targets.
- Be prepared to undertake other duties as may be reasonably assigned by the General Manager from time to time.

- Work with our sales resources to identify and capture new opportunities in the maintenance schedule and coordinate potential customer slot requests.
- A high degree of commercial awareness of the Base Maintenance business;
- An ability to manage, motivate and develop individual staff and teams;
- Strong analytical, decision-making, planning and organisational skills;
- Strong communication skills oral and written;
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership and negotiation skills;
- Competent PC skills (MS Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Access and Outlook).
- Knowledge of and ability to ensure compliance with the organisational policies and procedures detailed in the Dublin Aerospace MOE and supporting manuals;

- Ability to obtain Form 4 approval from the UK CAA;
- A knowledge of Base Maintenance Planning, Materials and Work Recording Systems such as DALsys, Visaer, SAP or AMOS would be an advantage.
