JMC Aviation are working with a CAMO company based in Malta, looking to recruit a new Maintenance Manager to join their team.
This client is an up-and-coming CAMO organisation and provides services such as consultancy, compliance support and airworthiness support to maximise business efficiency while minimising costs.
This is a Permanent Position based in Malta. Working 40 hours per week.
Duties involve:
-The satisfactory completion and certification of all work required by contracted operators/customers in accordance with the work specification (Work Order and approved MOE procedures)
-Ensuring that the organisation’s procedures and standards are complied with when carrying out maintenance;
-Ensuring the competence of all personnel engaged in maintenance by establishing a programme of training and continuation training using internal and/or external sources;
-Ensuring that all sub-contract orders are correctly detailed and that the requirements of the contract/order are fulfilled in respect of inspection and quality control
-Responding to quality deficiencies in the area of activity for which the Maintenance Manager is responsible, which arise from independent quality audits
-Ensuring, through the workforce under the Maintenance Manager’s control, that the quality of workmanship in the final product is compliant to an acceptable level
-The implementation of safety policy and human factor issues
-Ensuring availability of facilities appropriate to the planned work.
-Ensuring availability of a working environment appropriate to the tasks being undertaken.
-Ensuring availability of all necessary maintenance data as required by Part 145.A.45.
Skills and experience required.
In order to be successful in this role the Maintenance Manager will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
– Aeronautical / Mechanical Diploma or equivalent
– Having a previous experience in an Aviation Maintenance role in an airline or MRO environment
– Ideally have worked with Airbus and/or Boeing Aircraft types
– Capable to manage and work as part of a team and be goal oriented
– Knowledge of and ability to use computer office automation software packages.
