JMC Aviation are working with a global leader in the Business Aviation industry and are looking to engage with Aircraft Engine Repair Technicians.
This is a contract position based in Wichita, KS and offers an excellent hourly rate. Duties within this role are as follows:
– Conduct periodic inspections of engines and aircraft, such as Major Periodic Inspections (MPI) and Hot Section Inspections (HSI), following relevant maintenance manuals.
– Troubleshoot and repair basic engine and aircraft-related issues at both on-site and off-site locations.
– Assist with complex engine and aircraft repairs, providing support during on-site and off-site maintenance tasks.
– Perform engine removals, installations, and replacements of engines and accessories.
– Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble aircraft engines to maintain operational standards.
– Replace Line Replaceable Units (LRU) as necessary to ensure proper functioning.
– Aid Aviation Maintenance Technicians in operating ground support equipment (GSE), such as ground power units, tugs, hydraulic mules, and oxygen servicing units.
A successful candidate would have the following skills and experience –
– Possess an Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license.
– Typically bring 3 years of experience in turbine engine maintenance.
– Skilled in reading and interpreting engineering documents and repair manuals.
– Right to work in the United States.
