JMC Aviation are working with a business jet operating partner company based in Malta, looking to recruit a new Crew Scheduling Manager to join their team.

This is a Permanent Position based in Malta.
Working Monday – Friday, 8am – 6pm.

The Role  
As a Crew Scheduling Manager you will be leading the team of Crew Schedulers and collaborating with several stakeholders across an array of business functions to ensure efficient, compliant, and effective operational outcomes.  
   
Other duties involve:  
– Responsible for planning and communicating the team roster in a timely manner, ensuring optimal personnel coverage for each shift.  
– Be detail oriented to carefully and accurately manage crew fatigue.  
– Monitor crew duties and forecast future requirements to guarantee compliance with regulatory limitations as well as relevant company policies.  
– Collaborate closely with key stakeholders across the business on various operational initiatives and/or projects.  
– Build a professional rapport with your team and be an ambassador for their professional development.  
– Carry out timely performance reviews in line with company objectives.  
– Address underperformance in a fair and efficient manner.  
– Monitor sickness and absence trends in line with best practices.  
– Ensure that departmental processes and procedures are maintained and improved in line with the company’s vision and mission.  
– Follow up on necessary data reporting, audit outcomes etc. to guarantee accurate data collection and facilitate informed decision making.  
– Travel as and when necessary to cover duties directly relating to the role, or otherwise.  
   
Skills and experience required.  
In order to be successful in this role the Crew Scheduling Manager will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:  
– Tertiary education, previous aviation crew scheduling and managerial experience is considered an asset.  
– Strong leadership, analytical, and organisational skills.  
– Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.  
– Right to live and work in the EU
