JMC are working with a MRO company based in Birmingham, looking to recruit a new Cabin Trimmer to join their team.
This client is a leading MRO dealing with line and base maintenance as well as interior modifications and fuel systems repair and maintenance for both commercial and military aircraft. The company has been operating for close to 30 years, providing outstanding customer service and encouraging a warm, positive environment to aid employee progression.
This is a Permanent Position based in Birmingham, working on a 5/5/4 shift pattern.

The Role:
The primary purpose of this role is perform cabin and interior repair, modification and maintenance work under supervision.
Other duties involve:
– Conduct replacements of aircraft carpet, galley and toilet flooring
– Complete cabin side wall touch ups/repairs
– Conduct Tedlar repairs as required
– Complete soft furnishing repairs as necessary
– Perform seat cover and tray table replacements
– Conduct seat pocket repairs as required
– Take responsibility of sourcing parts/materials as needed
– Work IAW approved maintenance data and design drawings
– Record any work carried out within the issued work pack
– Actively support and promote a safe working environment through the reporting of occurrences and potential hazards while adopting continuous improvement and human factors principles
Skills and experience required:
In order to be successful in this role the Cabin Trimmer will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
– Previous aircraft interior/cabin experience preferred
– Completed a recognised aircraft engineering apprenticeship or similar
– Initial HF, FTS and EWIS training
– Knowledge of aircraft maintenance standard essential
– Demonstratable experience in aircraft modification/production/maintenance in a Part 145 MRO environment preferred
