JMC Aviation are working with an MRO company based in Shannon, looking to recruit a new B2 Licensed Engineer to join their team.
This client is a specialist in the provision of heavy C & D maintenance checks, bridging checks and major modifications. They provide services to airlines, leasing companies and VIP customers worldwide from strategic locations and are supported by extensive in-house shop capabilities as well as materials and logistics services.

This is a Permanent Position based in Shannon, Ireland.
Monday to Friday, working 08:00 – 16:45.

The Role
The primary purpose of this role is to be responsible for ensuring that maintenance actions are performed, certified and recorded accurately.
Other Duties Involve
– Using applicable current maintenance data, work order instructions and information systems
– Documenting the performance of all maintenance actions, compiling and controlling completed work cards
– Adhering to safety and deactivation/reactivation requirements
– Following the procedures detailed in a customers’ approved documentation
– Complying with internal and mandatory reporting requirements
– Complying with the work interruption and handover procedures
– Signing off maintenance tasks performed or supervised within the scope of authorisation
– Signing certificates of release to service within the scope of authorisation issued
– Ensuring all relevant tasks or inspections have been carried out to the required standard
– Confirming that each item/task of work has been documented and actioned
– Ensuring that all discrepancies are documented and rectified
In order to be successful in this role the B2 Licensed Engineer will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes
– Hold an EASA Part 66 B2 License
– At least 1 of the following type ratings:
– Boeing B737 (CL or NG)
– Boeing B757
– Boeing B767
– Base maintenance experience
– Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
– Right to live and work in the EU/UK
