JMC Aviation are working with an MRO company based in Gatwick looking to recruit a new B1 Engineer Shift Lead to join their team.
This client is an international line and base maintenance provider, operating a comprehensive level of support for commercial aircraft operators. As an independent MRO, they are able to adapt their approach to respond to rapidly changing requirements and provide services which include component repairs, overhauls, piece part manufacture, aircraft fuel tank repairs, aircraft maintenance, aircraft interiors and AOG support.

This is a Permanent Position based in Gatwick
5/5/4 mixed shift pattern

The Role
The Shift Leader will be a certifying engineer who leads and manages the day to day operational activities to ensure the safe and efficient operation of their responsible shift. They will be required to take on administrative and managerial duties including workload management and booking control, production planning and will be responsible for supervising and managing staff on shift.

In order to be successful in this role the B1 Licensed Engineer will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes
– UK CAA License
– Types required – 2 of the following ( A320, A350 , A380 , B747 , B787
– Line maintenance experience
– Ability to work a shift pattern including nights
– Hold a valid UK Drivers Licence
– Shift Lead Experience Preferred
