Aircraft Technician – Electrical Systems
Due to global growth of the aviation industry, JMC Aviation is recruiting experienced Aircraft Technicians – Electrical Systems with Base Maintenance experience on Boeing / Airbus platforms.
Aircraft technicians – Electrical Systems perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks across aircraft electronic systems and complex aircraft systems to include but not limited to, engine controls, flight control systems, navigation, communications, flight recorders, lighting systems, and fuel systems.
Responsibilities include.
Carry out assigned inspection, maintenance, and modification of aircraft electrical systems thereof as requested by the line manager and supervising licensed engineers.
Following OEM / AMM requirements for the completion of repairs to the appropriate standards.
Clearly update their ELMS details of all work carried out. The level of detail must accurately reflect time applied; productive or otherwise.
Comply with all procedures detailed within the Maintenance Organisation Exposition.
Comply with all company health and safety policies, procedures and COSHH requirements.
Comply with all procedures listed in the current Staff Company Handbook.
Any other duties commensurate with the position.
Aircraft Technicians – Electrical Systems will have the following attributes.
Aerospace or Engineering Diploma / Degree
3 years post qualification experience in Aircraft Maintenance in Aircraft Electrical Systems
Aircraft maintenance experience across Airbus and Boeing platforms
Technical knowledge to interpret and conduct aircraft repairs as required by the OEM AMM
Self-motivation with good communication skills
An ability to work alone or as part of a team
Knowledge and a high regard for Health and Safety standards
Must be comfortable working at heights and within confined spaces (You may need to work in a confined space (tank work), which includes restricted and physically demanding wing access and egress through oval shaped manholes).
