JMC Aviation are working with an MRO company based in Manchester, looking to recruit a new Aircraft Mechanic to join their team.
This client is an international line and base maintenance provider, operating a comprehensive level of support for commercial aircraft operators. As an independent MRO, they are able to adapt their approach to respond to rapidly changing requirements and provide services which include component repairs, overhauls, piece part manufacture, aircraft fuel tank repairs, aircraft maintenance, aircraft interiors and AOG support.

This is a Permanent Position based in Manchester.
Working a mixture of early (07:00 – 16:00) and late shifts (16:00 – 01:00) on a 6 on/ 3 off shift pattern.

The Role
The primary purpose of this role is to report to and work with the leading mechanic and certifier on the zone/aircraft as allocated.
Other Duties Involve
– Complete routine and non-routine maintenance tasks as directed using the latest approved documentation and procedures
– Observe and adhere to the company Tooling Policy at all times
– Maintain awareness and ensure best practises are observed for Health and Safety and Human Factors
– Ensure all paperwork is completed to the required standards
– Ensure that they keep their personal work area, hangar bays and facility clean and tidy at all times
– Notify the company of any significant findings as soon as possible
– Raise a safety report on identifying any hazard or the following of an incident
In order to be successful in this role the Aircraft Mechanic will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
– A recognised apprenticeship within the aircraft industry or similar.
– Proven work history in a line maintenance environment
– Permanent right to work in the UK already obtained
