An exciting opportunity has arisen within JMC Aviation, the world’s leading Aviation Engineering, Training & recruitment business.
We are looking to recruit a new Executive Assistant based in Exeter, to support the Company’s Chairman and Managing Director. The position involves managing schedules, arranging travel, coordinating meetings, organising events and handling communications.
This role will be fully Onsite working Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00.

The responsibilities of the Executive Assistant will involve: - Manage and maintain calendars, including scheduling appointments
- Plan and coordinate travel arrangements including flights, accommodation, car hire and other logistics
- Prepare agendas and take minutes for board and leadership meetings
- Follow up on action items from meetings
- Prepare information packs for board and leadership meetings
- Collate and report business metrics
- Conduct research and compile data as required for business projects
- Organise annual staff events (Christmas and summer party)
- Organise corporate events
- Answer incoming calls and respond to queries
- Draft and proofread communications including emails, letters, presentations and proposals
- Manage office facilities to ensure a well-functioning office environment
- Manage the fleet of company pool cars, arranging servicing and oversight of bookings
- Handling of sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
- Maintain discretion and confidentiality in all matters
In order to be successful in this role, the Executive Assistant will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes: - Experience in a corporate or high-paced professional environment
- High level of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work on own initiative and to organise and prioritise own work
- High attention to detail
- Ability to convey information accurately, clearly and in a manner easily understood
- Experience of using Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and database systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate needs
